Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to the
Senate for further consideration the House bill entitled a sup-
plement, to the Act incorporating the Western Man land
Railroad Company, and conferring new powers on said Com-
pany.

At 1.15 P. M., Mr. Lloyd moved a call of the Senate.
The Sergeant-at-Arms was directed to inform absent Sena-
tors that their presence was required in the Senate Chamber.

dispensed with.

Senate bill entitled an Act to pay to Philip W. Downs
and George W. Russnm a sum of money for services rendered
the State as counsel in the case of the United States vs. Wm.
H. Whitely, an officer of Registration of the State of Mary-
land, tor the First Election District of Caroline county,
