tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize, empower and di-
rect the County Commissioners of Howard county, to adjust
and pay Thomas J. White for damages occasioned by open-
ing a public road through his lands,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 199, of the
Acts passed January Session, 1874, entitled an Act to au-
thorize the construction of fire proof vaults in the Court-
House in Easton, and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 7, of an Act
to add certain Sections relating to the Superior Court of Bal-
timore city, and the Court of Common Pleas in Baltimore
city, to the 4th Article of the Public Local Laws, regulating
the returns of process, and the taking of judgments in said
Courts passed at the General Assembly of Maryland, at the
January Session, 1864, chapter 6, and to re-enact the same
with amendments,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Mr. Brewer at 12.30, moved a call of the Senate.
