Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
(by unanimous consent,) reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize Trustees to trans-
fer trust funds to Trustees duly appointed in other States.
Which was read the first time.

On motion by Mr. Phelps,
At 2.30, P. M., the Senate adjourned.

THURSDAY, February 10, 1876.
Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by Rev. Mr. Canter.
Present at roll call, the following Senators:
Messrs. President, Aydelotte, Banaon, Brewer, Duke,
Freeman, Ford, Getty, Gorman, Hepbron, Humphreys,
Joyce, Knight, Lee, Lloyd, McCulloh, Mudd, Newcomer,
Phelps, Stevens, Steiner, Walsh—22.

Proceedings of yesterday read and approved.

The Hon. 3. C. Hollyday, Secretary of State, appeared
and delivered a communication from the Executive.

Mr. Stevens presented the memorial of Enoch Pratt, Wm.
Hopkins, Henry James, and 700 others of Baltimore city,
praying the passage of the bill appropriating a sum of money
for the purpose of a proper representation of Maryland at
the Centennial Exposition at Philadelphia.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fi-
nance.

Mr. Humphreys presented the memorial of E. S. Toadvine,
and 90 others, citizens of Salisbury, praying the passage of
an Act authorizing the Commissioners of Salisbury to pur-
chase and hold a piece of ground on which to build a
market house in said town.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Humphreys, Ban-
non and Dennis.

Mr. McCulloh presented the memorial of John Kelso, W.
L. Hoblitzell, and 100 others, citizens of Allegany county,
praying the repeal of the Attachment Law of 1874.
