1876.1 OF THE SENATE, 185

House bill entitled an Act authorizing the Clerk of the
Circuit Court tor Anne Arundel county to place certain fees
in the hands of the several Sheriffs of this State and the city
of Baltimore for collection,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Ford, Steiner,
Getty, Suit,
Gorman, Walsh—19,

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the Home of Delegates.
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Wicomico county, to levy a sum of money for
the support of William Benjamin Gordy, while in an Insane
Asylum.

Being'upon its third reading,

On Motion by Mr. Humphreys,
Was ordered to lie over.

Mr. Stevens from Committee on Judicial Proceedings, (by
unanimous consent,) reported lavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 619, 620,
625, 626, 627 and 628, of Article 4, of the Public Local
Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Justices of the
Peace and Constables,and to enact certain Sections in lieu of
the Sections so repealed,

With the following amendments.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Senate bill No. 25, relating to Justices of the Peace in
Baltimore City.

In Section 3, after the word "Peace" in seventh line of
second page, second paragraph, add as follows : "And that
he will account for and pay over to the Clerk of the Court of
Common Pleas, and to the Register of the City of Baltimore
respectively, all fines, penalties and forfeitures, or the por-
tions thereof, which he ig bound to account for and pay over
to said respective officers, and that he will faithfully and
truly account for and pay over to the person or persons, or
