Mr. McCulloh, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled aa Act declaratory of the Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed January Session,
1853, chapter 109, entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled

an Act to incorporate the Fremont Savings Institution of Bal-
timore, by allowing said Institution the privilege embraced
under the Act entitled an Act to continue the corporate ex-
istence of the several banking institutions therein mentioned,
passed at January Session, 1853, chapter 441.

Which was read the first time.
Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 476, of the
Acts of 1870, entitled an Act to provide for the creation and
regulation of incorporated companies in the State of Mary-
land, and to enact a substitute therefor.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Dennis, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 27, of Article
10, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to Attach-
ments, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Stevens, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings, re-
ported lavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for making a survey
of Allegany and Garrett counties, and taking a vote of the
people lor or against a new county in certain districts of
Allegany and Garrett counties, at the election to be held for
members of Congress in the Fall of 1876.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Getty, from the Committee on Pensions, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of Mary Ann
Disney.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Mr. Cooper from Select Committee, reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to empower the Mayor and City

Council of Baltimore, to purchase, lease, or condemn lands

for Public Parks or Squares within the limits of Baltimore

city,

Which was read the second time.
