Which was read.

The Hon. R. C. Hollyday, Secretary of State, appeared
and delivered a message from the Executive.

Senate bill entitled an Act to require the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court for Frederick county to transcribe two equity
dockets of the Circuit Court for said county.

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate hill entitled an Act to repeal Section 8, of chapter
506, of the Acts of 1874, entitled "An Act for the taxation
of dogs in the State of Maryland," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
for the purpose of making repairs and additions to the furni-
ture of, and for procuring articles necessary for the use of
the Executive Mansion.

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
