On motion by Mr. Bannon,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments.

Mr. Walsh, from the Committee on Executive Nomina-
tions, to whom was referred the nominations for Commis-
sioner of the Land Office, State Librarian, State Wharfin-
ger, Managers of the House of Reformation for Colored Chil-
dren, Inspector General of Grain and Assistant Inspectors of
Grain, reported the Committee were of opinion that said
nominations ought to be confirmed.

Whereupon,

On motion by Mr. Walsh,

The Senate advised and consented to the appointment of
John H. T. Magruder as State Librarian.

On motion by Mr. Walsh,

The Senate advised and consented to the appointment of
William R. Hayward as Commissioner of the Land Office

On motion by Mr. Cooper,

The Senate advised and consented to the appointment of
Daniel Constantine as State Wharfinger.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The Senate advised and consented to the appointment of
Charles E. Phelps as one of the Managers of the House of
Reformation for Colored Children.

On motion by Mr. Freeman,

The Senate advised and consented to the appointment of
W. S. Whitely as cnb of the Managers of the House of Re-
formation for Colored Children.

On motion by Mr. Hepbron,

The Senate advised and consented to the appointment of
Samuel Casey as Inspector General of Grain.
