Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I herewith transmit to you a list of Executive appoint-
ments made during the recess of the Legislature for Mont-
gomery county:

May 28, 1874.—Michael J. Brown, Justice of the Peace for
5th district, vice self, who failed to qualify.
May 28,1874.—Montague L. Richardson, Officer of Regis-
tration for 5th district vice self, who failed
to qualify.

Aug. 28, 1874.—S. George Donohue, Justice of the Peace

for 3rd district vice B. F. Reed, deceased.

Aug. 28, 1875.—John H. Gibson, Officer of Registration for

2nd district vice E. G. Gardiner, resigned.
