SENATE JOURNAL.

Extra Session.

THURSDAY, April 20, 1876.

STATE OF MARYLAND, to wit:

This Thursday, April 20, 1876, being the day appointed
by proclamation of the Governor of Maryland for the meet-
ing of the Senate in extra session in the City of Annapolis,
the hour of 12 M. having arrived, the President called the
Senate to order, which was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Amos, when the following Senators appeared and an-
swered to their names :

Caroline County—Daniel Fields, President.

Allegany County—Thos. McCulloh.

Anne Arundel County—Michael Bannon.

Baltimore City—

1st Legislative District, John H. Cooper.
2d " " Francis P. Stevens.
3d " " E. T. Joyc?.

Baltimore County—Edward D. Freeman.

Carroll County—J. Fenner Lee.

Cecil County—Wrn. M. Knight.

Charles County—George D. Mudd.

Dorchester County—Francis P. Phelps.

Frederick County—Lewis H. Steiner.

Harford County—John Carroll Walsh.

Howard County—Arthur P. Gorman.
