The House proceeded to the consideration of the unfavora-
ble report upon the
Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to provide for the Inspection of Oil
and Fluids used for illuminating purposes, in the City of
Baltimore, and for the appointment of Inspectors for that
purpose.
Said report being an order of the day,
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
The bill was substituted for the unfavorable report.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 136, of Article
93, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled " testa-
mentary Law," sub-title "distribution," and to re-enact the
same.
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of John F. Wiggins, Daniel Caulk, Henry
M. Tiralla, James E. Tate, Richard Tydings, John H.
Handy, David Leonard, George McLaughlin, Moses McGor-
mick, Medairy & Bowers, and William T. Markland & Bro.
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to add to Article 26, of the Code
of Public General Laws, as re-enacted by an Act passed at
January Session, 1868, chapter 471, a section to follow im-
mediately after Section 13 of said Article, and be numbered
13 A.
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 6, chapter 244,
of the Acts of the General Assembly, passed at the January
Session, 1872, entitled an Act to authorize the appointment
of Weighers of Grain by the Governor, and to amend and
re-enact said section as amended.
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
