On motion of Mr. Baldwin,
The House proceeded to the consideration of the next Sec-
tion,
Being Section 14.
Mr. Hoblitzell submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Sec. 14, line 13, insert in the blank the word "ten."

The question recurring upon the adoption of the amend-
ment,
Mr. Smith, of Dor., demanded the previous question.
The question then being,
"Shall the main question be now put?"
It was decided in the affirmative.
