Mr. Robinson, from the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act making appropriation for the sup-
port of the government for the year ending the 31st day of
December, 1877.
Which was read a first time, and,
On motion cf Mr. Robinson,
Was made the special order of the day for March 18th^
1876, at 12 M.
The bill entitled an Ac: to refund to J. Frank Fovl, Clerk
of the Circuit Court for St. Mary's county, a sum of money
erroneously paid into the Treasury,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The Senate bill entitled an Act declaratory of tlie Act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at January Ses-
sion, 1853, chapter 109, entitled an Act to amend an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Fremont Savings Institu-
tion of Baltimore, by allowing said institution the privileges
embraced under the Acfc entitled an Act to continue the cor-
porate existence of the several banking institutions therein
mentioned, passed at January Session, 1853, chapter 441, and
to extend the corporate existence of the People's Bank of
Baltimore,
Being upon a third reading,
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and said
bill ordered to be printed.
The bill entitled an Act'to appropriate a sum of money to
pay Christian H. Walker, of Harford county, money erro-
neously paid by him into the Treasury of the State,
Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
lows:
