ments, and to add additional Sections thereto.

Also,
The House bill entitled Act to repeal Section 5, of chapter
381, of the Acts of 1872, entitled an Act to. provide for the
destruction of hawks and owls, and to protect the class of
small birds, known as "Insectiverous Birds," in Prince
George's, Talbot and Montgomery counties, and to re-enact
the same with amendments, so as to exclude Montgomery
and Talbot counties from the provisions of said Section.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Also,
The House bill entitled an Act of the General Assembly
of Maryland, to make valid the Acts of the Commissioners-
appointed by the Act of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at December Session, 1840, chapter 219, and to
confirm the proceedings of said Commissioners.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to give the assent of the Gener-
al Assembly of Maryland, to the several bequests iu the
will of Rezia Hammond, late of Anne Arundle county,
deceased, to the Brooklyn Methodist Protestant Church and
Parsonage in Brooklyn, Anne Arundel county, and Holly
Run Methodist Protestant Church, in same county and State
of Maryland.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed
amendments."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
In the title strike out the word "assent," and insert the
word "sanction."
In Section 1, line 2, of the bill, strike out the word "assent,"
and insert the word "sanction,"
