Said bill was then sent to the Senate.
The bill entitled an Act to authorize and require the County
Commissioners of Frederick county to fund certain indebted-
ness of the Board of County School Commissioners of Freder-
ick county, by issuing bonds therefor, and to levy a tax for
the payment of the same.
Being upon its second reading.
Mr. Hinks submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend by striking out all from word "county," online 1
of preamble, to word "certain" on line 3, and insert word
"borrowed" before said word "certain."
Which was adopted.
Also, the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend by striking, out words "during the past eight
years" on line 4 of preamble.
