burg Water Company, which was incorporated by the Acts
of January Session, 1853, chapter 330.

Mr. Gill, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to add a sub-Section, to be known
as sub-Section 2 to Section 10 of Article 56, of the Code of
Public General Laws.
Which was read a first time.
Ordered, That Henry Cruise be paid for twelve days ser-
vice in organizing this House,
Was laid over under rules of the House for one day.
A bill entitled an Act in relation to mendicant and
vagrant children,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act appropriating certain sums of
money to Thos. Donaldson and James Revell, for legal ser-
vices rendered the State,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
Mr. Robinson, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel, Prince George and Calvert coun-
ties, to provide free travel over the Patuxent river, at or near
Hill's Bridge, and to determine the cost between them.

The bill entitled an Act to regulate the shooting of Ducks
and other Wild Fowl, in West and Rhode rivers, and their
creeks, in Anne Arundel county.

The bill entitled an Act to add a Section to Article 65, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Negligence," for
the purpose of regulating the proof and effect of negligence
in actions therefor, under said Article, and at Common Law,
