The bill entitled an Act to add a Section to Article 69, of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Officers," to
enable parties injured by tortuous acts of Sheriffs and Con-
stables, to have a remedy against the official bond of suck
officers,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to add an additional Section to
Article 75, of the Code of Public General Laws, to regulate
the practice in cases of application for new trial in the sev-
eral counties of this State,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 70, of Article
17, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's
County," sub-title "Crier," and re-enact the same with
amendments,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
Mr. Smith, of Dor., moved that the House do now take a
recess until this 4 P. M.
Mr. Hoblitzell moved that the House do now adjourn un-
til to-morrow, at eleven o'clock, A. Bl.
Decided in the negative.
The question then recurring upon the motion submitted by
Mr. Smith, of Dor., it was
Decided in the affirmative,
And the House, at 2.45 P. M.,
Took a recess until 4 o'clock, this P. M.
