Which was read.
Mr. Hooper, Chairman of a Select Committee, to whom had
been referred the bill entitled an Act to prohibit the grant-
ing of licenses for the sale of Spirituous or Fermented Liquors
or Lager Beer in vicinity of Druid Hill Park, reported'
favorably thereon.
Said bill being upon a second reading,
Mr. Stewart moved to strike out the enacting clause.
The question then recurring, upon the motion,
Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, demanded the previous question,
The question then being,
"Shall the main question be now put?"
It was decided in the affirmative.
The question then recurring upon the motion submitted by
Mr. Stewart.
