Mr Hodges presented the petition of Samuel F. Waters,
R. M. Pindle and Samuel Brooks, and other citizens of Anne
Arundel county, praying for a law for protection of wild fowls
in the waters of Anne Arundel county.
Which was read and referred to the Anne Arundel delega-
tion.
Mr. Brown presented the petition of Z. M. Waters and
others, asking for an Act to protect stock, poultry and game
in Howard and Carroll counties.
Which was read and referred to the Howard and Carroll
delegations.
Mr. Lambdin presented the petition 300 citizens of Dorches-
ter county, asking for a chnnge in the Local Option Law in
that county, to a high license system.
Which was read and referred to the Dorchester delegation.
Mr Whitelock presented the petition of A. W Bradford
and 13 other citizens of Baltimore county, asking for the pas-
sage of a law to prevent stock running at large,
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.
Mr. Cockey presented the petition from R. B. Carmichael,
W. J. Price and 120 others, authorizing the County Com-
missioners for Queen Anne's county to erect a bridge over
Wye River.
Which was read and referred to Messrs. Cockey, Neal and
Hodges.
Mr. Bird presented the petition of J. M. B. Dalrymple,
John J. Gibbons and 25 others, citizens of Calvert county,
requesting an additional constable lor the 3rd Election Dis-
trict.
Which Was read and referred to Messrs. Bird, Turner and
Lancaster.
Mr. Culbreth presented the petition of P. G. Stevens and
other citizens of Hillsborough, Caroline county, asking to
have Section 10 of the charted of said town repealed, and re-
enacted with amendments,
