The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act making appropriations tor the support of the
State Government tor the year ending the 31st of December,
1876.
The question recurring upon the amendment submitted by
Mr. Scott, viz:
Under title "Militia," line 1, strike out the Words
"twenty-five," before the word "thousand," and insert the
word "five.
Pending which,
Mr. Jones submitted the following amendment:
