On motion of Mr. Naill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 177 of Ar-
ticle 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Testamen-
tary Law," sub-title "Guardian and Ward," and re enact
the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to ascertain the qualifications of engineers of
stationary engines, and to secure the safety of persons em-
played in and about the coal mines of this State.
On motion of Mr. Robinson,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Robinson, Bird and Turner,
to introduce a bill to repeal and re-enact chapter 279 of the
laws passed January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to amend
the Act of Assembly of 1868, chapter 292, adding an addi-
tional Section to Article 51 of the Code of Public General
Laws, under the title of "Landlord and Tenant," by repeal-
ing the same, and re-enacting the same as follows.
On motion of Mr. Rullman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to intro-
duce a bill to provide lor the payment of a pension to Ann
