between the words "twenty" and "dollars," and insert "six
hundred."

Mr. Chaisty submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 1, line 4, after the word "State," add the words,
"and whatsoever else may exhibit the advancement of our
State in the culture of the Arts and Sciences."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Lambdin submitted the following amendment:

Section 1, line 1, strikeout the words "twenty-five," be-
fore the word "thousand," and insert the word "fifteen."
