immediate parties contesting. It is a question whether or
not a great crime has been committed against the right of
suffrage, and if it has been committed, and we ascertain that
it has been, it is fatal to one and all alike of those who claim
under it.
For these reasons we desire to record our emphatic dissent
from the course adopted by the majority of the Committee,
and the grounds on which they seek to defend it.
