amount of revenue received by the Clerk of the Court of
Common Pleas, during the year 1875, as appears by his
quarterly return was $266,452.41, on which sura commis-
sions, at two per cent, amounted to $5,829 04. The amount
of increase on his commissions on the same, under the Act
of 1874, chapter 231, was $2,664.52, and the amount of ex-
cess of fees reported by him, and paid into the Treasury,
was $3,099. 18.
It will be seen by said return, that said Clerk is allowed
the rum of thiee thousand five hundred dollars for the year
as his salary, over and above office expenses, and compensa-
tion to assistants, and that the same is in accordance with
Section 45, of Article 3, of the Constitution.

referred to the Commiitee on Art. 3, Stc. 24, of the Consti-
tution.
On motion of Mr. Lambdin,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation, to intro-
duce a bill to repeal the 46th Section of Article ten of the
Code of PuMir Local Laws of Maryland, relating to iht
Town of Cambridge, in Dorchester county, as amended by
Act oi 1S72, chapter 175, and to re-enact the same wita
amendment.
On mot ion of Mr. Neal,
Leave was gianted to the Queen Anne's and Talbot dela-
gaions, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to tepeal an Act,
passed 1874, chapter 276, relating to Kent Narrows, and all
preceding Acts relating thereto, and to re-enact as follows.
On motion of Mr Purnell,
Leave was granted to Messrs Purnell, Onley and Dashiell!
to introduce a bill to divide the Third Election District of
Worcester county.
On motion of Mr. Mattingly,
Leave was granted to the Committee on C-aim^, to intro-
duce a bill to appropriate a sura of money to piy the claim
of J. FraukFord, Clerk of the Circuit Court for St. Mary'0
county.
On motion of Mr. Waters, of Dorchester,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation, to intro-
duce a bill to permit the citizens of L ike's and Straight's
districts, to shoot wild fowl out of sink boats.
