Mr. Dashiel presented the petition of George G, Insly,
James R. Willing, Geo Williams, and 60 other citizens of
Wicomico county, asking tor better protection in the prose-
cution of ttieir business as oyster men.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Mr. Waters, of Dorchester, presented the petition of Lakes
and Streights districts in Dorchester county, Maryland, ask-
ing for a law to permit the shooting oi Wild Fowl from sink
boats.
Which was read and referred to the Dorchester delegation.
Mr. Bird presented the petition of Catherine E Lusby and
twenty-seven other ladies of Calvert county, in favor of a
Local Option Law for Calvert county.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
Also,
The petition of W. S. Dalrymple, W. A. Bryan, D. B.
M Dixon. and 133 other citizens of Calvert county, for the
passage of a Local Option Law for Calvert county.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways

Mr. Ford presented the petition of Benj. W. Morrill and
52 others, citizens of Baltimore city, asking for Local Option.
