1632 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS. [Apl. 3,
mending the zeal and conduct of the principal clerks with
whom I have been daily brought in immediate contact. To
their experience and the assistance so cheerfully at all times
rendered, is due much of the success the members now enjoy.
I trust, that the friendship for each other, which has marked
our deliberations, as well as our social intercourse, will ever

Speaker declared the House of Delegates of Maryland ad-
