Laws of Maryland, title City of Baltimore.

The bill entitled an Act to regulate the pay of State's At-
torney, for Cecil county,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to extend the charter of the Grand
Division of the State of Maryland, of the Order of the Sons
of Temperance, passed December Session, 1845, chapter 159,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to provide for the assessment and
taxation of the property of Railroad Companies in this State,
for county and municipal purposes, and to repeal all laws
or parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act,
Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Gill,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and said
bill ordered to be printed, and referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.
The bill entitled an Act granting the sanction of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland to the bequest in the last will
and testament of Margaret E. Morton, late of Calvert
county, deceased, to the Vestry of St. Paul's Parish Church,
in Calvert county,
