Mr. Gill, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to require the stationery
purchased for the use of the Library, Senate and House of
Delegates, to be contracted for by the Comptroller, Treasurer
and Librarian,
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal the fourth Section of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws of this State,
as the same was enacted by the Act of January Session, 1874,
chapter 483, and to enact a new Section in lieu of the said
fourth Section so repealed,
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional Sec-
tion to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, of the
City of Baltimore, sub-title "Taxes and Loans," as sub-
Section "873 A."
Which was read a second time.
Also, unfavorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to add certain additional
Sections to Article 81, of the Code of Public Laws of the State
of Maryland, entitled "Revenue and Taxes," providing for
the assessment of property heretofore or hereafter omitted to
be assessed, and for the collection of State Taxes payable
therein,
The unfavorable report was adopted.

of the Constitution, submitted the following minority
REPORT.
Gentlemen of the Senate and House of Delegates :
The undersigned, members of the Joint Standing Commit-
tee of the Senate and House of Delegates, appointed under
Article 3, Section 24, of the Constitution, to which was re-
ferred the order adopted by the House of Delegates, January
18th, 1876, directing your Committee to inquire whether the
charges made in the Republican Press of the State, daring
the past campaign, that a Public Officer of this State at-
