No. 236. An Act to repeal the Act passed at the January
Session, 1872, chapter 254, entitled an Act to authorize and
empower the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
county, to appropriate a gum of money to the capital stock
of the Annapolis and North Severn Bridge Company, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.
No. 237. An Act to authorize the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, to issue city stock for the purpose of redeeming
the five million loan, known as "Baltimore Water Stock,
redeemable at pleasure, on and after the 1st day of May,
1875, and to provide for the payment of all taxes, State,
Federal or otherwise, to which said stock or the interest
thereon may be liable, and to reduce the rate of interest on
the indebtedness of the said city.
No. 238. An Act to provide for the repairs of the public
roads of St. Mary's county.
No. 239. An Act to require the County Commissioners of
St. Mary's county to report annually to the Grand Jury of
the September Term of the Circuit Court for said county, a
statement of the expenses of the county.
No. 240. An Act to authorize the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, to issue the bonds of the City of Baltimore to
an amount not exceeding the sum of seven hundred and
fifty thousand dollars, to provide means for extending and
improving the Court House in said city.
No. 248. An Act to repeal Sections 31, 34 and 36, of Ar-
ticle 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Licenses," sub-title "Foreign Corporations and Com-
panics," and re-enact the said Sections so as to read as
follows:

On motion of Mr. Rinehart, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Lamotte have leave of absence to-day
on account of urgent business.
On motion of Mr. Robinson, it was
Ordered, That during the recess of the Legislature, the
Hall of the House of Delegates and Committee Rooms thereto
attached, shall be under the care and control of the present
Hall-keeper.
Mr. Lambdin submitted the following order :
Ordered, That James Dorsey, one of the Pages, be allowed
the same amount of postage stamps that the other officers
have had.
