Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 108, of the Acts
of 1874, entitled an Act to repeal Section 21 of Article 7, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Carroll county,"
sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," and to re-
enact the same with amendments, and to amend and re-en-
act the same,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to provide for the Public Printing
for the General Assembly of Maryland,
Being upon a third reading,
Mr. Chaisty submitted the following amendments :
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Section 3, line 6, alter so as to read, "said printing, and
at the expiration of said hour all bids shall be opened/'
Section 6, line 1, make the word "Chairman" read "Chair-
men;" between the words "the" and "Committee," insert
the word "Joint"
The proposed amendments were severally read and adopted.
The bill, as amended, was then read a third time, and
passed by yeas and nays as follows!
