lished by the evidence, the election held in the City of Balti-
more on the 2nd day of November last, was not free, fair nor
legal, and is therefore, absolutely null and void, and should
be so declared by this House.
To that end, the undersigned beg leave to submit the fol-
lowing Resolution:
Resolved, That it appears to this House that there wat
such disregard of essential legal requirements, and such tu-
mult, riot, intimidation, fraud and injustice in the election of
delegates from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Legislative Districts of
the City of Baltimore, on the 2nd day of November last, in
contempt of law, and in violation of the freedom of elections,
that the said election is void, and that the Speaker of the
House of Delegates issue his warrant for the election of six
delegates from each of said Legislative Districts of the City
of Baltimore, to represent the same in the present General
Assembl on ________day of Enext.

re-enact the same so as to read as follows.
