So the amendment submitted by Mr. Naill was rejected.
Mr. Hart submitted the following amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Sec. 20, after the Words "annual salary," utrike out the-
word "three" and insert "five."
Which was rejected.
Mr. Scott submitted the following amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Sec. 20, after the words "duties upon him," by inserting
"or it any officer of Registration shall enter upon the list of
registered voters the name of a voter or strike from said list
the name of any person already entered therein except at the
time and place proscribed by this Act."
The question recurring upon the adoption of the amend-
