AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
In lines 5 and 6, Section 2, strike out the words "one and
a-half," and insert the word "three."
In lines 10 and 11, of Section 5, strike out the words
"one and a-half," and insert the word "three."
Strike out all of Section 8, after the word "enquire," on
line 3, and insert the words "into and present, and indict
all persons violating any provisions of this Act, and of the
license laws of this State, relating to the sale of spirituous
and i'ermented liquors and lager beer, and upon conviction
in addition to any penalties inflicted by said laws, it shall be
the duty of the Court before whom such person shall be con-
victed to suppress his license, and the provisions of this Sec-
tion shall also apply to any person or persons convicted of
keeping a disorderly house, who may have taken out an
ordinary or oyster house license, or who shall not have on
the premises immediately occupied by the person taking out
said license, the accommodation for both man and beast, re-
quired by the provisions contained in Article 56, of the Pub-
lic General Laws; and for the period of one year after such
suppression, no license to sell spirituous or fermented liquors
or lager beer shall be granted to the person co convicted, or
to any person for the use or benefit directly or indirectly of
such convict, and no license shall be granted to any one to
sell spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer on the
premises where such offence was committed during the time
for which the suppressed license was granted, and any license
obtained contrary to the provisions of this Section, shall be
void."
Section 9 and 10 to be stricken out.

Section 12 to be Section 10.
