"Mr. Hodges submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend by striking out all after "county," in 9th line, to
word "Baltimore," in 13th line, and insert as follows:
"Anne Arundel county shall be divided into three assess-
ment districts, the territory within the Corporate limits of
the City of Annapolis, shall constitute the first assessment
district of said county, the third, fourth and fifth election
districts, the second assessment district of said county, and
the first, second and eighth election districts, shall constitute
the third assessment district of said county."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Naill submitted the following amendment.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out all from the word "Frederick," included, in
line 68, to the word "county," included, in line 77, of Sec.
3, and insert in lieu thereof, as follows:
"Frederick county shall be divided into six assessment
districts, the first district shall be composed of election dis-
trict No. 2, of said county, the second shall be composed of
election districts Nos. 10, 6, 16 and 3, the third district shall
be composed of Nos. 12, 14 and 1, the fourth shall be com-
posed of election districts Nos. 7, 9, 18 and 8, the fifth shall
be composed of election districts Nos. 13, 11 and 17, the
sixth shall be composed of election districts Nos. 4, 15 and 5.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Mattingly submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Insert after "St. Mary's," sub-section 3, "as constituted
prior to 1876."

Mr. Snowden submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 3, sub-section —, insert after "Prince George's,"
"as constituted prior to 1876."
Which was adopted.
Section 5, line 17, strike out the words "a freeholder,"
and insert "the owner of real estate or chattels real.
Which was read.
Mr. Stewart submitted the following amendment to the
Amendment.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 5, line .17, strike out the words "shall be a free-
