Centreville, or a majority of them, to convey a certain lot of
ground in said town, unto the Trustees of the Methodist
Protestant Church, at Centreville in Queen Anne's county,
in the State of Maryland, reported favorably thereon.
Mr. Lambdin. Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to regulate the issuing of licenses
for the sale of spirituous and fermented liquor, and lager
beer, in the Fork or No. 1 District, and the 6th and 8th
Election Districts of Dorchester county,
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Smith, of Baltimore county, Chairman of a Select
Committee, reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county to assess the capital stock of the
Warren Manufacturing Company of Baltimore county, and
to collect the State and county taxes levied thereon from said
corporation.

Mr. Riggs, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,
A bill entitled an Act to add an additional Section to Art.
11, of the Code of Public Local Laws, t.tle "Frederick
County," sub-title "County Commissioners," to be known
as Section 45 A.

Mr. Lancaster, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
iavorably,
A bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of cer-
tain counties outside of the City of Baltimore, in the State
of Maryland, to determine by ballot whether spirituous or
fermented liquors shall be sold by hotel keepers.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Lancaster, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to prohibit the manufacture or sale of
adulterated, foreign or domestic spirituous or fermented
liquors or lager beer in this State.
Which was read a first time.
On motion of Mr. Waters, of Dorchester,
The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to amend Section 3, oi Article 8, of the Consti-
tution of the State of Maryland.
Said bill being upon a third reading.
