The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerks of the Cir-
cuit Courts of Talbot and Queen Anne's counties, to enter
up judgments by confession where the plaintiff makes oath
that the considerations are just and true as stated,
Being upon a second reading,
Mr. Fitzgarrell submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out "Queen Anne's" wherever it appears in the
bill, and make ''counties" "county."
Which was adopted.
The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to add alditionai sub-Sec-
tions to Article 19, of the Public Local Laws of Somerset
county, title "License," sub title "Retailers,"
