Hospital, located at 1213 Light Street, Baltimore, Maryland,
the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, said will being recorded
in the office of the Register of Will, in Wills, Liber No. 421,
folio 187, etc.

173. To the gift and bequest contained in the Last Will
and Testament of William F. Roach, late of Baltimore City,
State of Maryland, deceased, to the Grace and Hope Mission,
located at 4 South Gay Street, Baltimore, Maryland, the sum
of Five Hundred Dollars, said will being recorded in the
office of the Register of Wills, in Wills, Liber No. 421, folio
187, etc.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

Approved May 18, 1937.

CHAPTER 483.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with Amendments Sections
174, 175 and 176 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County", sub-title, "Fire
Companies", relating to appropriations to volunteer fire com-
panies.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 174, 175 and 176 of Article 1 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County",
sub-title "Fire Companies" be and the same are hereby repealed
and re-enacted with Amendments to read as follows:

174. The County Commissioners of Allegany County are
hereby authorized, empowered and directed to pay the sum of
forty-four hundred and twenty-five ($4, 425. 00) dollars
annually to the several volunteer fire companies so long as
said fire companies remain incorporated bodies, for their
benefit, said sum of money to be used the respective fire
companies for the purchase, repair or maintenance of fire-
fighting equipment or for the repair, maintenance or upkeep
of buildings used by the respective fire companies.

175. Said payment shall be made on the first day of Sep-
tember in each and every year by the County Commissioners
of Allegany County, and it shall be distributed as follows: To
the Chapel Hill Hose Company No. 6 and the Cumberland Hose
Company No. 1, of Cumberland, Maryland, the sum of $150. 00
