Article instituted after June 1, 1931, and involving amounts
not exceeding two hundred dollars. Justices of the Peace of
Queen Anne's and Somerset Counties shall, after June 1, 1937,
have civil jurisdiction in all cases hereinbefore mentioned in
this section of this Article instituted after June 1, 1937, and
involving amounts not exceeding two hundred dollars. Jus-
tices of the Peace of Wicomico County shall, after the date of
the passage hereof, have civil jurisdiction in all cases herein-
before mentioned in this section of this Article instituted after
the date of the passage hereof and involving amounts not ex-
ceeding three hundred dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 474.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
129, 130, 131, 132 and 135 of Article 11 of the Code
of the Public Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Frederick County", sub-title "County Commissioners", sub-
heading "Board of Estimates", as amended by Chapter 208
of the Acts of 1933, relating to taxes and assessments in
Frederick County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 129, 130, 131, 132 and 135 of Article 11
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Frederick County", sub-title "County Commissioners",
sub-heading "Board of Estimates", as amended by Chapter 208
of the Acts of 1933, be and the same are hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:
129. The Board of County Commissioners of Frederick
County shall annually on or before the 1st day of January,
in each and every year, beginning with the first day of Jan-
uary, A. D. 1934, levy upon the taxable property of Frederick
County, the State and county taxes, to be due and collectible
in the manner and at the time or times as is now provided by
law, the State taxes for the purpose of paying the taxes due
the State of Maryland, and the county taxes for the purpose of
paying and defraying the expenses, charges, obligations and
expenditures to be created as hereinafter set forth, incident
to and necessary for the conduct of the affairs of the county,
