George's County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace", said
new section to be known as Section 571A, to follow imme-
diately after Section 571 of said Article, and to provide for
the keeping of records of arrested persons brought before
Justices of the Peace in Prince George's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Jus-
tices of the Peace", said new section to be known as Section
571A, to follow immediately after Section 571 of said Article,
and to read as follows:

571A. Whenever any person has been arrested and is
brought before any Justice of the Peace of Prince George's
County for commitment, the said Justice of the Peace shall,
immediately after making a disposition of the charge on which
the person arrested is brought before him, make a record in
quadruplicate, the original of which he shall retain with the
records of his office to be delivered to the County Commissioners
of Prince George's County on termination of his office, a dupli-
cate of which he shall deliver to the arresting officer imme-
diately, the triplicate of which he shall send to the Super-
intendent of the Prince George's County Police Force within
twenty-four hours, at the office where the arresting officer is
stationed, and the quadruplicate of which he shall send to the
Sheriff of Prince George's County within twenty-four hours,
and said record, and the duplicate, triplicate, and quadrupli-
cate thereof shall contain, among other things, the name of the
person arrested, the charges brought against him or her, the
name of the arresting officer, and where the charge is made
by a person other than the arresting officer, then the name of
such person by whom the charge is made, the name of the
Justice of the Peace before whom the arrested person was
taken, and the immediate disposition of the arrested person,
whether released on bail-bond or collateral or held in jail, and
if released on bail-bond, the name of the bondsman and the
amount of the bond, and if released on collateral, the amount
of collateral deposited, and the essential facts in each case.
If any person, committed by Justices of the Peace of Prince
George's County is released by order of a different Justice of
the Peace of Prince George's County, the Justice of the Peace
so releasing the arrested person shall make the same record
and transmit the copies thereof to the persons above named,
to whom copies of the original commitment are to be sent,
and shall, in addition to the information required for the
record provided for herein, show the name of the Justice of
