CHAPTER 431.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Crimes and
Punishments", sub-title "Sabbath Breaking", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 483N and to follow immediately
after Section 483M of said Article, authorizing the opera-
tion of bowling alleys, ten pin alleys and duck pin alleys
in Allegany County during certain hours on Sunday.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Sabbath Breaking",
said new section to be known as Section 483N, to follow imme-
diately after Section 483M of said Article, and to read as
follows:
483M. Nothing contained in Section 483 of this Article,
however, shall be construed as prohibiting, penalizing or mak-
ing unlawful the operation of any bowling alley, ten pin alley
or duck pin alley in Allegany County, between the hours of
1 P. M. and 6 P. M. and 9 P. M. and 12 P. H. on Sunday, with
or without a charge or fee.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 432.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 558
of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Washington County", sub-title "Jus-
tices of the Peace and Constables", sub-heading "Juvenile
Court", as amended by Chapter 107 of the Acts of 1933,
increasing the compensation of the Magistrate for Juvenile
Cases in Washington County and of his Clerk.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 558 of Article 22 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington
County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables",
sub-heading "Juvenile Court", as amended by Chapter 107 of
the Laws of 1933, be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
