County", sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks", as said
section was enacted by Chapter 65 of the Acts of the Special
Session of 1933, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments to read as follows:

301A. No person, firm or corporation shall sell beer, lager
beer, ale or porter in Queen Anne's County without a license
as herein provided, suck license shall be granted by the Clerk
of the Circuit Court. They shall be of two kinds: (1) "On
Sale" licenses which shall permit the licensee to sell the afore-
said beverages for consumption on the premises or else-
where, and (2) "Off Sale" licenses which shall permit the li-
censee to sell beverages in packages, containing not less than
one dozen bottles, or single containers of not less than five
gallons content, for consumption off the premises only.

"On Sale" licenses may be granted only to bona fide hotels,
restaurants where meals are habitually served for payment
and/or incorporated clubs.

No license shall be granted under this Act to any drug store
or pharmacy, and the sale by a licensee of any of the beverages
aforesaid to a minor is prohibited, except on the written con-
sent of parents or guardian.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 422.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 211
of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Li-
censes", sub-title "Motor Vehicles", sub-heading "Gasoline
Tax", authorizing the collection of. the State Gasoline Tax
from sales of gasoline made on Federal territory situated
within the exterior limits of the State of Maryland.

WHEREAS, A Statute of the United States became law on
the sixteenth day of June, 1936, permitting the several States
to levy and collect taxes on gasoline and other motor vehicle
fuels when sold on United States Military and other Reserva-
tions, when such fuels are used for other than Governmental
purposes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 211 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of
