the sole expense of the Commission. Bills for the amount of
the charges as above specified shall be sent monthly, quarterly,
or semi-annually, as the Commission may determine, to each
property served, and shall be thereupon payable at the office
of the Commission; and if any bill shall remain unpaid after
30 days from date of sending, the Commission shall after
written notice, to be left upon the premises or mailed to the
last known address of the owner, turn off the water from the
property in question and it shall not be turned on again until
said bill shall have been paid. If any bill shall remain unpaid
for 60 days after being sent out by the Commission it shall be
collectible against the owner of the property served, in the
same manner as other debts are collectible in the respective
counties.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 391.
AN ACT to authorize the Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission to erect a general office building for its use
and to provide for payment of the cost thereof.
WHEREAS the Washington Suburban Sanitary District since
Its organization in 1918, has been housed in a frame building
in the Town of Hyattsville, and in which there is kept its
"engineering records and data, subject to complete loss and
'destruction by fire; and which building has become obsolete
and entirely too small and inconvenient for the needs of said
Commission;
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission is
hereby authorized to erect on land which it now owns or which
it may hereafter acquire a general office and record building at
a cost not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100, -
000. 00),
SEC- 2. The cost of said building, including all necessary
equipment and fixtures shall be included in any one of the
General Bond issues issued and sold by the Commission for
general construction purposes under the provisions of Section
5, Chapter 122, of the Acts of 1918, and shall be of like tenor
