CHAPTER 334.

AN ACT declaring certain waters of the Chesapeake Bay to
be a part of the waters of Talbot County.

CHAPTER 335.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County to borrow upon the faith and credit
of said County, at any time not later than June 1, 1939, a
sum not to exceed in the aggregate Seven Hundred and
Twenty-four Thousand Dollars ($724, 000. 00) and also to
borrow certain incidental sums for the purpose of provid-
ing funds to carry out a school construction program for
Montgomery County as proposed by the Board of Educa-
tion of Montgomery County and as outlined herein; direct-
ing the County Commissioners of Montgomery County to
borrow sufficient funds not in excess of the maximum herein
prescribed to complete said entire program in the event any
part thereof is undertaken; and authorizing and empower-
ing the County Commissioners of Montgomery County to
evidence said borrowing by the issuance and sale of coupon
bends, and providing for the payment of the said coupon
bonds and interest thereon by a general tax levy upon all
the taxable property within the corporate limits of said
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That for the purposes hereinafter specified and recited
and subject to the conditions and qualifications hereinafter
set forth, the County Commissioners of Montgomery County
is hereby authorized and empowered to borrow upon the faith
and credit of said County a sum not to exceed Seven Hundred
and Twenty-four Thousand Dollars ($724, 000. 00) and to issue
and sell coupon bonds therefor in the amount thereof to
evidence such borrowing, said bonds to bear such rate of in-
terest, not exceeding six per centum (6%) per annum, as may
be determined upon by the Board of County Commissioners of
Montgomery County by a resolution duly adopted. Said bonds
may be issued all at one time, or they may be issued in groups
or Series; and if issued all at one time then they shall all
bear the same date of issue, which shall be the first day of
such month not later than June 1, 1939, as may be fixed by
said Board of County Commissioners, or if said bonds are
issued in Series, then each Series shall be dated as of the
