owner and the person so selected by him, if it is reasonable,
and that there is no collusion between the owner and such
person to make an. excessive charge.
Unless all of said conditions herein just above specified are
complied with the Commissioners shall proceed to have the
work done, as hereinabove provided, by contract or otherwise
with the party or parties selected by him; but upon said con-
ditions being complied with the Commissioners shall employ
the person so selected by the owner on the terms so agreed
on, and on completion of such work, in the manner required
by this Act, by such person, the Commissioners shall pay him
the agreed price and shall cause the amount so paid to be
entered in the book provided and kept for that purpose in the
office of the Treasurer of Baltimore County, hereinabove re-
ferred to, and no notice shall be necessary in such cases to the
owner, and the said Treasurer shall proceed to add said one-
fifth instalment thereof to the tax bills and collect the same,
as hereinabove directed.
Any person interfering with the Commissioner or their
agents or servants in the performance of any of the duties of
this Act required of them shall be subject to a penalty of
not less than ten dollars ($10. 00), nor more than fifty dollars
($50. 00), to be collected as other penalties due Baltimore
County are collected.
The interest herein directed to be charged shall be at the
rate of one-half of one per cent (% of 1%) per month.
334E. Whenever any person or persons shall occupy, or
shall be in actual possession, or have charge, care or control
of any property within the County, as executor, administrator,
trustee, guardian or other fiduciary, or as agent, such person
shall be deemed and taken to be the owner of such property,
within the true intent and meaning of Section 334 of this Act,
and shall be bound to comply with all the provisions of said
section and of this Act so far as the same may affect such
property, in the same manner, and subject to the same conse-
quences in every respect prescribed by said section and this
Act as if such person were actually the owner of such prop-
erty, and notice to any such person by the Commissioners, as
hereinbefore prescribed, shall be deemed and taken to be as
good and sufficient notice as if such person were actually the
owner of such property.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall be
effective on and after June 1, 1937.
