the waters of Maryland, except in the waters of Worcester
County, during the month of November, in each year, provided
that the Commission shall give seasonable public notice of such
prohibition, and provided further that the Commission shall
find such prohibition necessary or advisable in the interest of
conservation.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 281.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 2
and 4 of Chapter 189 of the Acts of 1931, as repealed and re-
enacted by Chapter 352 of the Acts of 1935, increasing the
annual appropriation for the Prince George's County Vol-
unteer Fire Association and the bond of the Treasurer
thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 2 and 4 of Chapter 189 of the Acts of 1931,
as repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 352 of the Acts of 1935,
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:

2. The County Commissioners of Prince George's County
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to appropriate
and levy annually the sum of seventeen thousand two hundred
dollars ($17, 200) for the use of the Prince George's County
Volunteer Fire Association. Said sum shall be paid annually
to the Treasurer of said Association and fifteen hundred dol-
lars ($1, 500) thereof shall be disbursed by him in equal shares
to the Rescue Squads of Bladensburg, Glendale and Upper
Marlboro and said total sum of seventeen thousand two hun-
dred dollars ($17, 200) shall be disbursed by him only on
order of the Board of Directors of said Association to the
member companies, departments or rescue squads of said
Association, only for the purpose of purchasing, repairing
and maintaining apparatus and equipment; provided, how-
ever, that no payment shall be made to any company or
department which has any resolution or regulation limiting
the territory within which it will respond to calls and pro-
vided further that before any new volunteer fire association,
company or corporation, shall share in said appropriation, said
