event, it may by resolution request the County Commissioners
to substitute for the specific purposes for which the said bonds
were sold, or to be sold, or any of them, the construction of
such new schools, or such additions to schools or the purchase
of such building and playground sites as said Board of Educa-
tion may consider advisable and if the County Commissioners
of Prince George's County concur in such changes, or any of
them, they shall by a resolution approve the same, and there-
upon such new items shall be substituted for the items in Sec-
tion 3 of this Act, which the said Boards desire to abandon,
and the Board of Education shall proceed with these new
items in the same manner and with the same powers and re-
strictions as if the same had been originally mentioned in Sec-
tion 3 of this Act.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1st, 1937.

CHAPTER 278.

An ACT to add one new section to Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Elections", sub-
title "Primary Elections", said new section to be known as
Section 195, to follow immediately after Section 194 of said
Article, to regulate primary elections in Somerset County
for certain offices.

(Vetoed. )

CHAPTER 279.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 57
of Article 48A of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title "Insurance", sub-title "Fire Investigation Bu-
reau", relating to the examination of persons and inspection
of premises where incendiary or suspicious fires occur, or to
ascertain if fire or panic hazards exist.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 57 of Article 48A of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "Insurance", sub-title "Fire
Investigation Bureau", be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as follows:
