expire on May 1, 1937, are hereby extended for a period of two
years from that date; and on and alter the effective date of this
Act the said Commissioners shall hold and/or resume their re-
respective offices until May 1, 1939, and thereafter until their
successors shall have been appointed and qualified, and not-
withstanding the fact that prior to the effective date of this
Act successors in their place and stead may have been ap-
pointed and qualified. The Governor may remove any mem-
ber of the Commission appointed under the provisions of this
Act, upon conviction of malfeasance or misfeasance in office.
Upon the removal of any member of the Commission as herein
provided, the vacancy thus occurring shall be filled by the Gov-
ernor for the remainder of the term, subject to confirmation by
the Board of County Commissioners of the County in which
the appointee shall be a resident.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
This bill became a law on March 19, 1937, without the ap-
proval of the Governor, in accordance with the provisions of
Article 2, Section 17 of the State Constitution.
CHAPTER 47.
AN ACT to create two additional precincts in the Thirteenth
Election District of Montgomery County, from territory now
entirely within the First, Second, Fifth, and Seventh Pre-
cincts of the Thirteenth Election District of said Mont-
gomery County; to be known as Precincts Nos. 10 and 11,
respectively; to change the boundaries of the First, Second,
Fifth and Seventh Precincts of the Thirteenth Election Dis-
trict of Montgomery County for the purpose of creating the
two additional precincts in the said Thirteenth Election
District of Montgomery County; to authorize and direct the
Board of Supervisors of Elections for Montgomery County to
designate the voting places in the said precincts; to provide
for the appointment of officers of registration of voters, as
well as all other necessary officials; to provide all necessary
equipment as now or hereafter provided for by law; and to
authorize and direct the Board of Supervisors of Elections
for Montgomery County to provide the necessary assistance
in transcribing the registration books for Precincts Nos.
10 and 11.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary
land, That two additional precincts be created in the Thir-
