ment under the provisions and purposes of the said Bankhead-
Jones Act of June 29th, 1935.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 210.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Gar-
rett County", sub-title "Reports", said new section to be
known as Section 465A, and to follow immediately after-
Section 465 of said Article, to regulate publication by the
County Commissioners of Garrett County of statements re-
garding their annual levy.

(Vetoed. )

CHAPTER 211.

AN ACT to add seven new sections to Article 83 of the Anno
tated Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Sales and
Notices", sub-title "Fair Trade Act", said new sections to be
known as Sections 115 to 121, inclusive, and to follow imme-
diately after Section 114 of said Article, making unlawful
the unfair trade practice of selling goods at less than cost.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That seven new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 83 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Supple-
ment), title "Sales and Notices", sub-title "Fair Trade Act",
said new sections to be known, as Sections 115 to 121, inclu-
sive, and to follow immediately after Section 114 of said Arti-
cle and all to read as follows:

115. It shall be unlawful for any person engaged in com-
merce, in the course of such commerce, to sell, offer for sale or
advertise for sale any article, product or commodity at less
than cost thereof to such vendor, or give, offer to give or adver-
tise the intent to give away any article, product or commodity
for the purpose of injuring competitors and destroying com-
petition, or to advertise brands or types of goods they are not
prepared to supply, provided, however, that nothing herein shall
