CHAPTER 35.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
452A of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot County", sub-title
"St. Michaels", as said section was enacted by Chapter 247
of the Acts of 1935, providing for annual audit of receipts
and disbursements of the town of St. Michaels.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 452A of Article 21 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot Coun-
ty", sub-title "St. Michaels", as said section was enacted by
Chapter 247 of the Acts of 1935, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

452A. The Commissioners of St. Michaels are hereby au-
thorized and directed to have an audit made of the books,
accounts, receipts and disbursements of all moneys received
and expended by them, and to levy a sufficient sum to pay for
said audit. Provided, however, that the said audit shall be
made every year beginning with May 1, 1937.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 36.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 26 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Courts", said new
section to be known as Section 12A, to follow immediately
after Section 12 of said Article and to be under a new sub-
title "Bonds", permitting Courts to reduce the penalty of
bonds under certain conditions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition),
title "Courts", said new section to be known as 12A, to follow
immediately after Section 12 of said Article and to be under
a new sub-title "Bonds", and to read as follows:

12A. In any case where, pursuant to statute, rule of court,
decree, or otherwise, a bond has heretofore been or shall here-
after be filed in any Court in this State, the Court (or any
Judge presiding in said Court) may, in its discretion, reduce
