Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Charles County", sub-
title "Liquor and Intoxicating Liquors", as enacted by Chapter
127 of the Laws of 1935, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, to read as follows:
207. It shall be unlawful for any licensee under this sub-
title to sell to any minor or habitual drunkard. And it shall
also be unlawful for any licensee under this sub-title to sell
liquors on the Sabbath Day commonly called Sunday, or any
Election Day, nor shall any liquors be sold by any licensee
between the hours of 12 midnight and 6 o'clock A. M. But this
section shall not prevent the sale of any wine, beer or other
spirituous or fermented beverages containing less than 8%
alcohol by volume, on any day or at any time, except the day of
any General, Special or Primary Election. Any person vio-
lating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon trial and conviction shall
be subjected to a fine of not less than fifty dollars nor more
than two hundred and fifty dollars, or may be confined in the
County Jail or in the House of Correction for not less than
sixty days; and the Court in its discretion may suppress the
license of any licensee, and no license shall be issued either
to the person or to the place wherein the law has been vio-
lated for a period of six months, and upon the suppressing of
said license, there shall be no return of the license money to
the licensee.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 33.
AN ACT to provide for a bond issue by the Town Commis-
sioners of Centreville, Queen Anne's County, Maryland, a
Municipal Corporation, for the purpose of providing addi-
tional equipment for and making improvements at the
electric plant of said municipal corporation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Town Commissioners of Centreville, a Municipal
Corporation, are hereby authorized and empowered in their
discretion to borrow upon the faith and credit of said town,
a sum not to exceed sixty-six thousand dollars, for the purpose
of providing additional equipment for and making improve-
