WHEREAS, the said Audrey Joanna Margaret Leininger is
the daughter of Mrs. Audrey Leininger by her first husband,
John Joseph Leininger, having been born on January 16,
1915; and
WHEREAS, the said John Joseph Leininger departed this life
on September 23, 1917, about two years and eight months
after the birth of the said Audrey Joanna Margaret Leininger;
and
WHEREAS, on June 1, 1919, the said Mrs. Audrey Leininger,
widow of the said John Joseph Leininger and mother of the
said Audrey Joanna Margaret Leininger, married the said
Allen Harry Goldstein; and
WHEREAS, at or about the time the said Mrs. Audrey Lein-
inger married the said Allen Harry Goldstein the said Audrey
Joanna Margaret Leininger adopted the name of Audrey Ruth
Leininger; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the said Allen Harry Goldstein
and Audrey Ruth Leininger, formerly known as Audrey Joanna
Margaret Leininger, both of Baltimore City, to have the said
Audrey Ruth Leininger to be the adopted daughter of the said
Allen Harry Goldstein; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted Toy the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Andrew Joanna Margaret Leininger, now known
as Audrey Ruth Leininger of Baltimore City, be and she is
hereby declared to be the adopted daughter of Allen Harry
Goldstein and, as such adopted daughter, is entitled to all the
rights -of inheritance and distribution as to the estate of the
said Allen Harry Goldstein and subject to all the obligations
to which she would be entitled if she were a natural child
born of the said Allen Harry Goldstein.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.
